Anybody used this board for mameing. It has Integrated Real 256E graphics. Just wondering how DOSmame would function with it, or would I need to stick a Radeon in??

Thanks

I just built 2 systems using this board. I haven't tried MAME on it yet but I have done some limited windows gaming (crazy taxi) and was pleasantly surprised. It seems solid. I don't see there being a problem with it but I am running WinXP not dos...

Cheers for the reply. I'm a bit concerned that the onboard graphics won't handle dosmames non-standard modes too well

well, the onboard video is basically free and the board does come with an agp slot. Doesn't hurt to try it out and then get an external card if it doesn't work to your satisfaction.

My sentiments exactly, however I import my hardware from the uk as Ireland is such a rip off, so I tend to get a few items together to split postage.

Ahhh...   I sympathize. Sorry I can't be of any more help than I have already. Any reason you're running dos instead of windows?
