Truck from Atlanta to St. Louis and Back
« on: August 17, 2004, 09:32:39 am »
I may be headed from Atlanta, GA to St. Louis, Mo. and back on Sunday August
22nd or the following weekend, August 28th or 29th.  I have a ford Ranger
and can carry 2 upright arcade cabinets or 3 pins (or some combo of the
same) on the way up, not sure how much room on the way back but I can use a
trailer as well if needed.  Price per normal upright or pin will be $125.00
one way if it is on my route.  We can negotiate a price if the
pickup/drop-off is off the route.  You would need to arrange to have someone
on each end to assist with the load in/load out as it will be just me.  I
need to know by Thursday morning (Aug 19th)  if anyone is interested.
Thanks, James

Any Atlanta people wanting a cabinet, this is your chance, I have plenty of them for sale.

paigeoliver, can you send me a list of what you have available?

EDIT:
I saw your post below.  I'm basically looking for something that will be fairly easy to work with for a first MAME cabinet.
LMK as I am just west of Atlanta.

Thanks,
Clay

Basically the rate will be is $0.23 per mi from item pickup to dropoff as long as it is on my route, might need to charge a bit more if it is off the route.

MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM WITH ME BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING.  I WILL MAKE MY FINAL DECISION ABOUT THE TRIP ON THURSDAY!  LET ME KNOW BEFORE THEN WHAT YOU HAVE ARRANGED!

 :) Thanks (sorry for shouting)

Well, the Defender already has the computer, the CGA monitor and the sound system, along with a Defender panel. Changing it over to a full fledged MAME cabinet would be simple.

Otherwise pick an empty.
