Got a cab, question about coin door.
« on: August 16, 2004, 02:45:31 pm »
I just bought an old Arch Rivals cab from a store here in Charlotte.  It has a pretty decent over/under coin door in it, but the bottom half (metal coin bucket basically) is still locked!  Neither I nor the guy I bought the cab from has the key, and the bucket still has money in it (adding a few pounds to an already hefty cab).  Any way I can get the lock out of the door without tearing it apart?

You should be able to unscrew the door frame from the front panel and then remove the coin box from behind.  You can then unscrew the lock from the door with no problem.
