Save a classic cab from me.....
« on: August 15, 2004, 01:57:17 am »
Anyone interested in an empty Atari Arabian cab?  (It's been painted over black, but the artwork is showing through enough to identify it.)  Otherwise it is destined for one of three things: eBay, MAME, or the fireplace.  Ok, probably not the last one.  ;D

Where are you?  If you're close enough to me I want it.

Actually, I'm not going to be on till later tonight (sun.) so I'll just say if you are within 100miles of concord, NH I want it, if not, I'll pass.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I'm assuming by your other post that you are located somewhere in the Dallas area.  Where abouts in the Dallas area do you live?  I might be interested if I can get my brother to drop by and pick it up and hold it for me until I can pick it up.  Thanks.

Arabian does not seem to be a collectable game, there is almost zero demand for it. Overall it was a big flop.

If I were you I would try to recover the sideart (3M safest stripper) but go ahead and use it for your Mame project.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

To tell the truth, I had never even heard of Arabialn until someone ID'd it at the auction.  This thing is pretty rough.  I don't know how well it will clean up.  Your right though....I might as well see how it looks stripped down to the original art.

If nothing else, I'll definitely give it away before I think of tossing it.  We'll see how it goes.
