Perfect specimen for mouse hack
« on: August 11, 2004, 06:33:10 pm »
I just opened up an old M$ mouse to use in a spinner hack, and look what I found! :o

It already has large, self-contained opto sensors!

All I need to do is extend the wires on them, and mount it on the light chopper.

This makes it soooo much easier!

For anyone who cares, the label says:
Mouse Port Compatable Mouse 2.1A
Part No. 63607

well, it turns out that it's just a plastic shield that sits on top of the regular mouse optics.

Nothing special about it.

Thats what I get for using micro$oft.
