you might have to sign up i dunno, but it has flash versions of classic games and it has a ranking for the boards. this would be so cool on this board!! is it possible to implement this?

I've implemented this for another hobby board on VBB it's not too difficult to do. I've not seen this availavle on phpbb or YaBB (ranking system from a game). The flash game if I remember correctly simply stored scores in the DB and then it was a couple of queries outputed. Come to think of it, I don't think it would be too hard to make it work with YaBB.
 
I have the flash games if needed and can provide the code that VBB uses for an ADMIN / MOD to implement if thats something that you are interested in.

Another feature that doesn't add much value,  and takes time to implement. I'm not saying it won't happen, but don't count on it.

It iwll also take up alot more bandwidth to implement.

Why not just go to a flash site or shockwave.com?  Mameworld's looney bin has games on it too.

I don't see the need for it here.  Not when there are other places to go to do the same thing.  If we had games that no one else had that might be different

well i think it would be cool here cause its a pretty close community i can read a post and i remember 90% of the peoples names. it would be fun seeing who is good at what games, have high score competitions, etc

I think it'll be good if we can add one game.. Pac Man to this board.  Then we could have a master High Score record for all BYOAC'ers.  

Plus it'll give me something to do while at work.

It sounds like a cool idea to me.  It would be fun seeing what other members are good at.  I could care less if I could beat some no namer's score on some other website, but here I know a lot of people (well, at least by a made up name, a random avatar, and some arcade cabinet pictures  )
