Cabs for chicks?

Has anyone here ever built a cab for a chick, but kept "chick" sensibilities in mind when doing so?

What I mean by this is, painting it PINK with white t-molding, and Betty Boop artwork on the side... Maybe some pink leopard print on the control panel, etc...

 

I think that's the only way I could get my girlfriend into the hobby.

You could paint a big picture of P'Diddy on the side.  But, I could never come to your house because I would have to torch the cabinet then.

You know, you'd probably have better luck getting her into the hobby, or rather, accepting you being in the hobby, if you set up one with games that she *likes* rather than painting it pink.  Think substance rather than looks.  Otherwise it's just a better looking box to her.  

Or heck, find out what she doesn't like about them - too big?  Maybe make it smaller, like a cabaret or cocktail.  Too complicated?  Maybe just have a few of her favorite games.

Well, for one thing, I don't think a pink cab will sway some girls.  My girlfriend would really take offense to this thread since you think painting it pink would make a gal like it  

It really depends on your lady... does she like games at all?  Some people just can't be swayed or interested in some things.  For instance... you will NEVER see me interested in soccer... just won't happen.  Perhaps if only hot, naked women were playing, but even then, I'd wonder why they were bothering with that stupid game (my opinion, apologies to soccer fans).

My point is: Is she one of those people who just doesn't see the point in games, no matter what you try?  Then you may be out of luck.  No paint or leopard print will change that.

If she isn't like that: Try to get her interested in the games themselves.  Or, make a cab and only load the games SHE likes.  My gf loves a lot of games, so I'm lucky in that regard.  If you can find some games she likes, and emphasize those... maybe use those game characters as art for the cab, etc, you'll be better off.

No matter what, if any of your guy friend see you playing games on a cab painted pink with leopard skin then you'll be called the "Gay Gamer" for the rest of  your life.

All though my wife really like leopard skin, maybe I can put one in the bedroom with all the naughty games on it if I cover it in leopard skin LOL
