Thickness for a Plexi / Acrylic CP
« on: August 10, 2004, 12:20:41 pm »
Anyone have an idea of how thick a control panel made out of Plexi or Acrylic would need to be in order to stand up to normal use? I was considering having made a CP out of a dark tint Plexi / Acrylic to sit on top of the wood CP box.

I would guess the same as wood, 3/4"
You could probly do 1/2" and it wouldn't break, but it would bend/bow an awful lot.
