Is there an Atari AR-II board expert in the house?!
« on: August 06, 2004, 01:46:23 am »

I've found two lists on the web of Atari Audio Regulator II board revisions, and the two lists have conflicting information.

Furthermore, I don't know exactly if what # my own board is.

Here's my dilemma: I have a non-working Missile Command cocktail. I'm trying to fix it. The AR-II board in it might not be the right one (I don't know what the guy I bought this table from might have tried).

All I know is that the numbers on the board don't seem to match the numbers in the lists on the web, nor do they match whats stated in the original manual.

Anyone out there have a MC cocktail table?

AR II stuff is confusing because there are 5 versions and some games will work with versions other than the ones they shipped with and the 02 version works for everything.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Paige,
If my board has "-02" hand written on it, is that it? Cuz the full number is "003686-02" and the first part of that number doesn't match up to ANYTHING through Google...
