2 questions
« on: August 02, 2004, 04:33:36 pm »
Well I got my steering wheel in the mail today for my pc driving cabinet. I also got the need for speed collection. When setting up the controls I was a little a dissapointed when you have to use the mouse to go through the menu in NFS games. Then in one game I believe high stakes it allowed me to go through the menu with the pedals and then use the button on the wheel to select. I looked under options in the other games but cannot figure out how to get this to work. Does anyone know how to do this in any of the other nfs titles?

Also do any Front ends support joysticks, or steering wheels?

Unfortunately this is often the case...game dev's don't expect people to have MAME cabs!  I expect the menu is hardcoded, and so you can't get around it. Next best thing is use an arcade trackball...

Some FE's support PC joystick devices (DK, Kymaera I think).  MAMEWAH will support it next release...
