So say you have a spinner with a couple buttons which are wired to the same buttons as say p1 first and 2nd button for the joystick

could you wire a switch that would switch between which ground wire is hooked up ?

so when you wanted to use  the spinner configuration the swtich would disconnect the ground wires for the player 1 joystick configuration..
