The pics that get submitted to KLOV will be of a clean machine, not the pics I submit here.  Unfortunately, even though officemax.com promised the delivery of the smartcard reader today, it did not arrive.  Maybe tomorrow.

Okay, OfficeMAX sucks.  I ordered on monday for '1 day delivery' and it arrives today.  That's a full business week.  Nice job dickwads.

Anyway, since I now have the media reader, here are the pics I promised:

too cool  ;D  thanks for the pictures.  Looks like all it needs is a little canned air to blow out the dust bunnies.  And a splash of paint on the coin door... sweet can't wait to see the 'after' pictures.

HA... 'after pictures'... more like 'after I finish the landscaping, redo half the bathroom, paint the kitchen and living room... my honeydo list is so damn long at this point I'm considering committing a felony so I can go to jail and get some quiet.   ;)

I'd be willing to take the cab off your hands...  ;D
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

First off, replace every electrolytic cap in the thing, especially the bigger ones.

Do you need to replace them with the exact same size and specification?

I believe the rule is that the capacitance rating has to be exactly the same and the voltage rating must be the same or higher (but NEVER lower).

Everything you could ever want to know about replacing capacitors...

The link is about repairing old radios but it the concept is the same.
