Can someone remember where...
« on: July 29, 2004, 07:09:03 pm »
the site I'm looking for had a cab kinda like the one in the picture below, but it was...."roundy"...on the top part and it didn't have the overhanging light/speaker setup.  Monitor had a PacMan-type orientation, base was similar to the one in the pic below...I searched through 6 pages of  the project announcements, and it wasn't any of the ones I checked.  If someone can remember or knows where it is or if it's YOUR site, please post the url here again.

I know the cab you're talking about, and I couldn't find it either.  Odd.  It's not in Post Hell, and I don't know what happened to it.

to add more info...it almost looks like (stuzza's?) "lowboy" cab, but the top has a rounded bottom piece.

It looks like a short two-piece cab with the bottom half of the upper part (did anyone follow that?!  :) ) rounded - kind of a cabaret (is that the style I'm talking about, someone correct me if I'm wrong) look to it...if I'm giving way more info and throwing someone off the trail, lemme know and I'll try to be less specific.

I coulda swore it was posted within the last month somewhere.

There's AndyWarne's cabinet, dunno if it's the one you were looking for, but it's similar to the one you posted.

nope, that wasn't it, but I DO like it...hopefully, with the pic I've attached, it will trip someone's RAM and they can remember it.  The top is the solid colored piece (and the rounded bottom part of the top  :P ) and there's a base it was attached to.  The top slopes similar to a Pac cab, there didn't seem to be any marquee sticking up or anything, almost as if it would be further up on the cab, and you'd look down at the marquee.

Hope this picture helps someone help me.

Thanks.

Yeah, that drawing looks just like the Nostalgia cab that KrawDaddy is building.  He changed the thread title slightly a few times, maybe that threw you off?

Wizard, THANK YOU  :-*  That's exactly the one I was looking for, although I was totally wrong on where the rounded part of the upper half was, you guys figgered it out.

Pointdablame, yeah, I think that's what it was.  I'm usually pretty good with remembering (or having an AHA! moment when I see it) titles of threads I liked.  Several changes since I last looked at it, and I wasn't following it as closely...figured I could easily find it when the time was right.  :-\   Also, in reading over the thread, he says he deleted the pics of the one I was thinking of...I'm gonna see if he's got those and can pass 'em along.
