Gameport Sidewinder driver
« on: August 21, 2002, 11:26:22 am »
Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knew where I can find a dl of the gameport MS sidewinder driver(s).  I've been unable to find much out there -- especially DOS ones (or does MAME, other emu's support them natively?).

I'd also like any important info as to what drivers/TSR's to run or NOT run when using a multiple Sidewinder hack.

Thanks!

I have a bunch of sidewinders at home.... and I think I still have one of those sidewinders driver cd....

if noone else has it, I can go home tonight and check whether I still have it or not... then probably zip it up a upload it to some place so that you can get it.... (but for now... I have no clue what is inside the cd....)
Another Brilliant mind ruined by education....  :p

That would be cool... if it's less than 75 megs zipped I can give you a login to my ftp (in an IM) to upload it.

I appreciate it.

I've got 4 of the original Sidewinder CDs, since I bought 4 of them recently (still need to hack them). I'd be happy to send you one... You could email me and we could make arrangements. aosier@hotmail.com

Or it might be easier to just upload it to you. It's 12 megs zipped with directx and some soundcard drivers deleted.
