Someone please tell me my iPac isn't fried.
Currently my iPac2 is acting like player 1's 5th button is crossed with player two's 5th and 6th buttons.
I've done a ton of troubleshooting in the past few days with my wiring and tonight I finally disconnected the p1 5th button -- and it's still stuck! Interestingly, I changed p1's 8th button to be 'Z' also in the ipac utility, and it acts the exact same way. I'm thinking my chip is slightly toasted or something. Anyone have any idea? This is a jumpered iPac2, not the newest one.
I'd prefer to use the MAME defaults, but I could probably figure out how to reprogram all that (both MAME and the iPac) for different keys given time. Problem is, I have a party tomorrow and I'd really like to find a workaround for this so we can do some street fighter style games. How difficult would it be to reprogram the iPac and my mame.ini file temporarily? I'm also using MAMEWAH, and I noticed there is some sort of iPac options, but I'm not sure what the purpose is for it... can I get a MAMEWAH expert to point me in the right direction?
Sorry if I'm incoherent, it's late...

Thanks in advance.
