Missile Command buttons
« on: July 26, 2004, 12:17:23 pm »
Does anyone know where I can purchase the buttons used in Missile Command?  They do not need to be original parts but it would be nice to have something that looked and felt like what was included in the arcade game.

Right now I have a Slik Stick and find that the regular sized buttons are to far apart and clunky to make the game playable.

Thank you.

The short version is that Ebay is your best bet for the real thing, but they are rare and expensive.

4-player Nintendo Vs. control panels had start buttons that were about the same size with a flatter cone, and no light.  These panels come up on ebay sometimes.

You could also post in the For Sale/Trade forum- mabye somebody has some for you.

Omega Race is another panel to look for- it had 4 of the lighted 'cone' buttons
