Are you wiring each axis yourself by hand? Cuz if so, then it won't make a difference which way you mount it. You could always just reverse the wiring to "flip" directions, and connect the wires to a different axis if the axis is wrong.

should be mounted like this:

if your looking down on top of the cp, with the grouped wires coming out at bottom right "corner".


But like RayB says, there's almost no difference if you wire by hand.
