Searching For: Pacman Phone
« on: July 24, 2004, 11:57:58 am »
I need a new phone and thought it would be cool to get a character phone with Pacman.  I searched eBay up and down with no luck!  :'(

I only found one website that actually listed one, but it was a personal collector listing his phone collection.  So I am not even sure what the darn thing looks like.

If ANYBODY has any info of where else I could try to look (went through google search) or has one they want to sell please let me know!  Thanks!!
I don't believe video games influence how people live!  If that were true we'd all be running around dark rooms, listening to repetitive music, and eating "magic" pills ... oh

I picked one up on Ebay about 2 months ago, there were 4 of them up for auction at the time. I would keep looking there.
FYI it's not that great a phone useage wise, I just got it for display.
The sound quality is so-so and I don't think you would want to hold it to your ear for very long. :)

Hey Knievel,

Thanks for the info.  Having never seen the phone, I appreciate the review.  Are you aware of any other arcade characters that were made into phones?  I know that there are ones of X-Men and I have seen a few Mario Bros.  But I was hoping to find something more "old school".  Thanks again for the reply Knievel!

I have a huge pacman collectables collection and have a phone. Unfortunately I sold my extra one about 6 months ago.

Keep watching ebay.. There will be about 1 or 2 listed each month on average. You'll spot em.  About 1/2 of the listings have the box too !
