PSX Guncon or Gunon 2 on PC in Mame, any chance of working?

Is there any possibility of using Guncon or Guncon 2 on your PC with mame?  Guncon 2 is a USB gun but from what I understand drivers are not found.

My initial guess would be no.
The USB guns made specifically for the PC are part of the monitor system, as well as part of the control system.

They have a box that connects between the computer and monitor/TV, that allows the gun to "see" the location of the shot.

I think that function is handled by the PSX itself, when the guns are connected to it.
