3/4 tmolding ?
« on: July 23, 2004, 01:37:55 pm »
Just finished a new CP for my cab.  I made it out of 5/8 MDF.  Just wondering if I could use 3/4 tmolding on it, or will it overlap too much?  Thanks for your input :)

It'll overlap a whole bunch.  Get some 5/8" T molding.

Yeah, get some 5/8" tmolding, or get yourself a 1/8" piece of plexi for over your CP.  Then the 3/4" will fit great.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

I agree, get the right t-molding....but....
if you have to use it, cut the channel off center so all of the overhang is on the bottom, you may never even notice it this way.

thanks for the replies.  Neglected to mention that I was probobly going to be putting plex ontop.  So I guess 1/8 plex, + 5/8 MDF = 3/4.  Makes me happy because I really had my heart set on some blue t-molding and they dont seem to make that in 5/8.  Anyhow, thanks again for the info :)
