Vortex spinner
« on: July 23, 2004, 01:02:19 am »
I'm ready to mount my vortex spinner in the cp and want to know what size to drill for the shaft?  The diagram on Oscar's site says "hole for shaft 5/8" to 1 1/8" diameter".

What does that mean?  What size should I use?

Oscar is on vacation until 8/2 and I'm planning to mount it this weekend.

Help on this is most appreciated!   :)

I drilled a 3/8" hole for mine, then rounded in out a little and it worked perfect. Make the hole a little bigger than the shaft and you will be fine. Just make sure the shaft doesn't bind up on the CP.
