Ok, here is the deal. My budget for additional arcade boards is a little low
right now with graduate school looming in the background. However, I want to do
something nice for my wife and get her a working Maximum Force, dual
Maximum Force/Area 51 PCB (she likes to hear the civilians scream when she
shoots them) or other gun game PCB's. I am hoping that someone will be
willing to trade one of these boards for some of the games, electronics or
computers that I have. I do not need the hard drives, but they would be a
plus. Alternatively, I am looking for a JPAC adapter and just about any
other gun game PCB. Full want list at bottom.

I have a few arcade PCB's to trade, but mainly I have console games and the
computer equipment. All the games that I have are in like-new condition with
cases and manuals, from a non-smoking owner.

What I have:

Computers (monitors separate at bottom of list)

*Note - I can rearrange the parts below into a new configuration.

You know, I never really thought about just selling the stuff. Let me get back to you later on tonight (after the wife goes to bed so she does not suspect anything) with a full breakdown of what is in the computer and what I would like to get from it. No chance that you would be willing to pay the $2500 that it originally cost me to build it? ;)

I should be able to take a closer look at it before midnight.

How much for the P3 800 pc?

I'll be the first to admit that I am not good at pricing my own systems, so feel free to make a counter-offer or laugh as appropriate. I noticed that you are getting an ArcadeVGA card in one of the other threads. I would like to get $165 + shipping for the dual P3 800 without a video card since you do not need it (or $180 + shipping if you want it anyway). You should be aware that the dual CPU will not mean much to MAME if that is your intention.

For reference, I am thinking about $135 without video card ($150 with) for the P3 733 computer, $100 with video card for the P3 500 computer, and $600 with video card for the P4 1.6 computer (case itself is still worth over $100 and video card is still worth over $300). Like I said, all prices and configurations are negotiable and I consider the PCB's that I want to be worth quite a bit (i.e computer 1 + some games for a Max Force/Area 51 PCB).

Just let me know what you think.

I have a Nintendo vs. Hogan's Alley with the light gun, was fully working when I pulled it out to make the cab into a DK. Any interest?? I could use one of the computers for another project I am working on.

Sadly, I cannot find one of the boxes right now (in the process of packing stuff up to move next month). I did find the other and made sure that it is complete (handheld, cradle, AC adapter, syncing software, main battery, case, instructions). The backup battery (3V, CR 2032) is included, but most likely dead after so long. I replaced one of these a while ago, and it was only $2. While there is no flash card with it (it was in the other one), I do have a PCMCIA Compact Flash Card Adapter that I can include with it. I will also throw in Trivial Pursuit and Microsoft Entertainment Pack 2.0 for Windows CE.

How does $70 plus shipping sound?

*UPDATE* I found the other one, but not the box. It includes the handheld, cradle, AC adapter, syncing software, main battery, case and 4MB CF Card. Again, the backup 3V battery probably needs to be replaced.

How does $115 plus shipping for both sound?

Sorry, I never liked the vs. games. Always seemed like the arcades around here replaced good, high profit games with the vs. machines that were never played.

In case anyone is interested, I have found and I am willing to part with these items as well:

Complete Playstation 1 System (original w/serial port, cables, 2 controllers and a memory card [don't forget about the Gameshark/Game Enhancer that I have too])
Microsoft Optical Notebook Mouse (new in box)
HP Photosmart 215 Digital Camera (Camera/Case/16 MB CF Card only, uses AA batteries or AC, but AC not included)
Linksys 2-port KVM switch with cables

I found the original box for the Windows XP Professional, so I can offer the complete full version in box. This is not currently on any of my computers (I have an Action Pack subscription) and has not been for almost two years, but it has been used. This is a non-SP disk, but I can include a SP install disk as well. If someone wants to buy it outright instead of getting it with a computer, I will sell it for $100 plus shipping.

I should have mentioned before, but I can supply pictures of anything as requested.

I am just north of you in Frederick, within 2 miles of where 270, 70, 15, 85 and 355 converge (FSK Mall). I would have no problem coming down there (or you can come up here) if we get something going. What kind of stuff do you have?

I'll try to come up with a list tonight,
Off the top of my head, I've got :
PCBS:
Pac-Man pcb
2 X Gallag boards (with Galaga chips + speedup fire chip)
2 X Dig Dug boards
Karate Champ
Primal Rage
Time Killers
Atari football
about 10+ other Jamma /non-Jamma boards I can't recall

Artwork / bezels
Galaga full set of artwork
Galaga monitor bezel (some damage)
3-4 misc 19-21" bezels

Tons of Arcade related stuff. Joysticks/buttons/ gear shifter/ t-moulding/power supplies/ isolation transformers/ monitor chassis/ etc...

I'd really like to get a decent computer off of you.

I do not really see anything that I would be interested in. The Pacman PCB almost has my interest, but if I ever got a classis game like that, I would want to get the full cabinet. Plus my wiring/soldering skills are not good enough to tackle a non-jamma game. I managed to rig a 2' jamma extension cord (which I think turned out nicely), but I have no desire to solder/route wires again for a long while. Let me know what the other boards you have are. Any chance that you have a Neo Geo board or some CPS2 games?

I would, however, be more than willing to do a three-way trade if someone has something that I want, but wants something  that PacManFan has.

crap I believe I just threw a maximum force manual away. I do have the marquee, some gun stuff(cables with one optic board) and the control panel top if you are interested. I also have some plastic gun shells. I look and get back to you. Good luck with getting a max force pcb everythime I tried on ebay when they did come up a year ago they always went for high 200s low 300s which was out of my price range.

I would like to have avoided parting out the computers unless someone wanted to buy a lot of the components together (it makes shipping cheaper/easier). However, it looks like people are more interested in the components than the systems. I could switch the video card with one of the other ones and drop the whole 1.6 computer to $350 plus shipping. If you still just want the motherboard and CPU, how does $100 plus shipping sound? I believe that I still have the manual and software for the mb, but I will have to look. I can throw in the 1 GB RAM for $50.

By Monday, I hope to be able to put prices on everything else.

Yeah, I have been watching that CarnEvil kit for a few days now. If I had the money, I would try to get in on it (or the Maximum Force kit). Since it does not look like I will be able to trade for any gun games, hopefully I will be able to sell enough to pick one or two up.

I actually do not need any guns. I got a nice new pair of deep blue Happs guns when I got my LE board, but thanks for listing them.

Allright sounds reasonable but some questions.

How many sd ram slots does the board have ?
you will be interested in selling the case along with it,my computer case just looks..bad so I would probley the case from you with the board if you take a picture or something or just find a picture of the case online.

Allright sounds reasonable but some questions.

How many sd ram slots does the board have ?
you will be interested in selling the case along with it,my computer case just looks..bad so I would probley the case from you with the board if you take a picture or something or just find a picture of the case online.

I took a few pictures of the case with all of the components in it. They are a little big (~250KB each), so I will not post them here, but you can go to my website and look at them here:

Just so that you get a feel for just how big this case is, it is just under 26.5" tall, 17.5" deep and 8.5" wide. It is a server class case with a high quality PS, 2x 120mm chassis fans and 2x 80mm chassis fans. How does $90 (plus shipping as always) sound for the case? I will also include the floppy drive (I think that it is a Teac)unless you do not want it.

The board (shown in the pictures, but somewhat hidden by the cables) has three SDRAM slots. The memory configuration is 2x 256MB Crucial RAM + 1x 512 Generic RAM. Here is the manufacturer's spec sheet for the board:
