Should I bother?
« on: July 20, 2004, 02:00:09 pm »
Should I bother downloading VPinMAME to use on my arcade monitor? Will it look like CRAP?

I'll be using an ArcadeVGA with a 19" WG4903 monitor.

I would like to have this but if it's gonna look like @$$ then I'll skip it.

Thanks

Vpinmame tables look best at 1024x768 or higher.

They look AMAZING at 640x480... if you turn antialiasing on...  I'm assuming your running an arcadeVGA so you will probably want 640x288 and set anti-aliassing on.

Download it and get it working... will take you 15 minutes...  Download one or two tables.

don't mess with the wrappers yet... Just run it once and see if you like it.

but I LOVE it on my cabinet.  I added 4 buttons just for it...  And I'm still considering building a control panel just for it (that sits on top and rocks back and forth... so the tilts would be really moving it... just pressing tilt buttons)
