I would like to commend Kremmit for setting an example for all of us at this board.

He recently won an auction for two NOS Time Pilot sticks; and, knowing that Allroy's uncle was having problems with the stick on his dedicated Time Pilot cab, sold him one of these at a ridiculously low price.

Conduct like that speaks very well to the generosity, and character, of the people involved in this board.
It should be brought to everyone's attention when it happens; so that it does not sneak by us, unnoticed, in "back-room" deals.

Well done Kremmit.

It's good to know that some of the NOS stuff out there is actually being used to get the machine it was made for working again and not just being hoarded in someone's collection.

Ok, now I'm blushing.  Really.

Actually, I didn't sell him one.  What happened was, I spotted these two auctions:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6107992515&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13718&item=6107991974&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

When I spotted 'em, neither had any bids, so I put in a bid on each for just the opening price (just to scare away the guys that bid on anything with no bidders), and contacted Allroy.  He put me in touch with his uncle, and we decided to let him outbid me on the single stick auction, and I took the other.  That way, if he won, we'd both get sticks (since I was DEFINATELY going to win the other auction  ;)), and if he didn't, I'd still have a spare to offer him.  As it turned out, nobody else bid at all, so we both won.

And, while we're patting each other's backs here, NoOne=NBA= was kind enough to refrain from bidding, even though he spotted those auctions on his own, just because he suspected something like this was up.  Big thanks to him, and any of the rest of you who did the same.  (BTW, I'm curious, WAS anybody else watching those?)
