analog mame+

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'm looking for some information.  I'm running XP with Mame version 7.6 (maybe) using Mamewah as a frontend (its great BTW) and have recently purchased 2 ACT lab light guns for TV.  I have House of the Dead PC version and it works with one player, and the single gun games like vs. Duck Hunt in mame work.  I have not tried Area 51, but T2 does not work with both guns.  Can someone tell me if it's possible to get 2 lightguns to work with XP using mame, maybe using analog mame+?  I'm not even really clear about what analog mame+ does for lightguns.  Also, is there anyway to use 2 guns for pc games?  I've read that I have to use Windows 98 or ME if I want to use 2 guns for PC games.  Is this correct?

alot of your questions could be answered with a search since i just did what you want to do and found all the info without too much trouble(both here and on the analog+ mame site)..Anyways, you have to enable mouse, multiplemouse in the ini file for analog mame+ as well as switchable mice--also enable "lightgun2b" in the ini file as well.

the how to for terminator 2 is on the act-labs website but i haven't got it to work properly yet myself.  I could also not get zombie raid or jurrassic park to work properly either.  use area 51 as your test bench to make sure everything works before moving into other games.
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Thanks for the response.  So you're saying it will fix my problem for mame using XP?  Do you know if I can ever get PC games to work with two guns, or is moving back to Win ME the only solution?
