I'm concidering placing two spinners on my new CP, just for Blasteroids becasue i love that game.  Wondering how many other games require multiple spinners.

I know some racing games are, Warlords is...any others?

Two Tigers.

That's the only other one I can think of.

It IS worth it for Blasteroids alone.

When you add in all the driving games, it's even MORE worth it.

I wonder how hard it would be to take a small steering wheel and adapt it so it's easily slips ON and OFF of a spinner knob??

Dual Spinners: Off the Wall
Hilarious fun.

How are you getting both spinners to work independently? I have two spinners, but they only function as one.

Use the Analog+ version of MAME.
It lets you split the mouse axes, and use more than one mouse.

Most all of the multi-player driving games qualify.

Super Sprint
Championship Sprint
Bad Lands
Indy Heat
Super Off-Road

Does Mame Analog+ run on Win2000? I don't think it does. :(

It runs, minus the multiple mice feature.  You can still split the mouse axes, so one spinner on X axis and the other on Y axis with -switchmiceaxes option will work.

Cabal love here.  It's my main drive for Analog+ in the first place (yes, even over Marble Madness).

I loved forgotten world, too.  Two player, two spinners, but the original used a push button/spinner.  So you'll need a trigger/button joystick and with normal spinners, or a tron push/pull spinner, or an original forgotten world push spinner to play it well in mame.

I read once before that Cabal was the main reason you got started creating MameAnalog+.  I'm a big fan of MameAnalog+ but I can't for the life of me understand what's to love about that game.  I have played it through from start to finish with 2 players using trackballs in MameAnalog+.  Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that the trackballs that I used came out of a Cabal control panel (did I ruin a classic?)   It feels like a lightgun game only it lacks lightguns.

Don't get me wrong - MameAnalog+ is the best thing that every happened to Mame.  Oh, well, it's probably one of those things - you have to have put real quarters into it to understand.

This ebay seller used to sell a steering wheel that would fit his usb spinner for $20

Might be worth checking with him, as far as shaft size etc... might be able to use what he's done.
