I-PAC2 not reconized
« on: July 13, 2004, 12:00:40 pm »
I just recieved the I-PAC2 from ultimarc.  When I plug it in Windows XP says that the device is not reconized. I read through and tried everthing that the web site suggested. Any Ideas??????

I assume it is usb?  If so have you tried going into device manager and removing it from the usb section and then replugging it in?  I had to do this on a windows 2000 machine once...geez i hate windows

Is there a jumper on yours that says ps2 and usb?  I ordered my ipac4 with usb cable and the jumper was set to ps2 unlike the first time i ordered.  Just switched the jumper, plugged it in and it worked.  If thats not it maybe you need to email andy?  I don't believe the new ipac2 has that jumper but i thought i would ask. ???

I got a note inside the box that said that I didn't need to set any jumpers.....However there is still a jumper pin set on the board without any jumpers on it.  I emailed him today. Thanks for your help.
