Toilet just gave you a couple links in your last post
Did you just not see them or something?  I have went to both sites and both apparently are selling adapter devices like you asked for.

SOLDERING, it's called soldering....

Did you try a google search?
http://www.google.com/search?q=soldering+playstation+gamepads

Did you check out some of the desktop controllers in the BYOAC faq examples section?
http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade_examples.php

Should be plenty of reading material for you to get started...

best of luck...

Look for the Original Playstation joypad.
The very first one that they made.
Look at the back of the controllers.
Look for a alphabet letters such as (H).
These letters represent when these control were made.
The earlier one doesn't have the BLACK STUFF on it, so you can solder on them.
You can fine these Original Playstation joypad at you local buy and sell used store. (Funcoland) or (GAMEZONE)
Look for letter (H) or any letters before (H). ;D ;D ;D
