having to hold button down to get others to work minipac
« on: June 29, 2004, 01:16:08 am »
I can't get my buttons and joysticks to respond, unless i hold player 2's 2nd button down. once i do that the other buttons respond, but I can't figure out why it does this. My wires are setup right and i'm using the minipac with harness

It almost sounds like your ground (or common) wire is wired to button 2 by mistake?

santoro might be on the right path......If you are using the minipac with the wiring harness check to see if your using the right grey wire(ground)

this problem was solved last night btw, Mock forgot to clean up his post, but it was a grounding problem, it would only chain the ground when one button was pressed because he had switched the GND wire with another normal button wire.
