Virtua Fighter 2 settings question
« on: June 28, 2004, 04:55:40 pm »
I'm looking through the VF2 service manual (a copy can be found here.  I know the VF2 CRT monitors are usually either 25khz or 15-25khz switchable.  I'm trying to find out about the projection monitors that came with the deluxe version.  I'd always read that the MONITOR is switchable, but looking in the manual I see on page 21 there is a DISPLAY TYPE setting.  You can set the DISPLAY to either CRT or PROJECTOR.  What is the difference between these two settings?  Is this also 15-25khz switching, this time on the game itself?

Depends on where the projector is mounted.  The difference might be a reversed picture for a backlit setup.  Just a guess though.
Still in the collecting parts and ideas phase of cabinet building.
