Relocating KeyWiz keyboard switch?
« on: June 27, 2004, 01:27:50 am »
Has anyone tried this? I love my KeyWiz but I would like to have the keyboard switch sticking out of the bottom of my CP box for easy access.
Can't do that with it mounted to the board the way it is now :P

I e-mailed randy t at keywiz with this question a few weeks back:

Is there any way to get the switch off the key wiz to a hidden spot on the outside of the cab?

This is his response:

"Not without some work and possible destruction of the KeyWiz.  I recommend mounting it just inside the coin door.  Once you flip it a couple of times, it's position will be second nature to you, so you won't even have to look inside."

Or get a wireless or USB keyboard and you won't need to worry about it.
