Console emulators and dreamcast questions..
« on: June 26, 2004, 02:29:06 pm »
I was thinking about putting all the console emulators and a dreamcast in my cab, so i have some questions..

1. Can someone tell me all the consoles that have    emulators, and the websites where i get them, and there names.

2. A Dreamcat can be hooked up to existing arcade controls right?

3. Is there anyway to get a ps2 and an x box to work in existing arcadecontrols, I have both and both dont get played often, and i want to put them to use.

Basically in my cab i want all consoles, mame, and pc games, need help.

2) Yes - Check out these sites which show you how to connect console controllers to arcade controls.

3) Hack this controller for xbox and ps2: http://www.consolesource.com/ecomm/customer/product.php?productid=1594

I dont really know though if i want to throw in actual consoles into the machine now though, to me it seems like it would take away from the arcade. Can people give me the names of the BEST console emulators for each console, by best i mean best running and play most games. I dont want to look through 20 emulators for each console to download, i just want to know the best ones so i can download those.
