Control panel layout - any suggestions/comments?
« on: June 26, 2004, 12:45:11 pm »
Yeah, there's always a million of this post, but hey, that's what we're here for right? :)
I'm planning on having a 3/4"-1" overhang on all sides (except the back of course, so I should get rid of the overhang I have on the back) But other than that, it looks about done.

I originally had 3 buttons by the trackball if anyone remembers, but the CP was a little too big, and I found it just as comfortable, if not MORE SO to use the player one buttons instead, and just put 2 mouse buttons below instead.

4-way could be close to that trackball if you plan on playing GT.

Are the 3 buttons above/right of the trackball for the 4-way or the trackball (or both?).  If it were for the trackball that may be a bit uncomfortable.

Scratch that last question....I see you are using player 1/2 buttons for your trackball

Just edited it a bit and uploaded it again, so you might need to refresh. I cut the top down a little to get rid of the non-existant back overhang.

Don't really PLAN on having GT, but I may be moving the 4 way left a bit anyways since ther'es more room on the left side of the CP than the right (so the left joystick has a place to rest wrist)
