Where to find IDE headers that will accept ?22guage? wire
« on: June 25, 2004, 01:19:08 pm »
I say ?22guage? becuase I'm not quite sure what I have, but I know it's pretty close to that...

Anyway, due to the recent discovery of the fact that the minipac that I ordered does infact suport a TB, I have decided to keep it insted of selling it just to buy the one with TB support.

So, I need to make my own wiring harness as I was too cheap to buy it with my original purchase.

Where can I get a 40pin IDE header capable of accepting a 22 guage wire?  Also there is a 10 pin set of pins on the board... should I just get two 40pin headers and cut one down to 10?

And 1 more thing, where can I find the "pull up resistors" that are required by the minipac to use an ultimarc trackball how many do I need and where do I put them?
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen
