Pinball MAME Games?
« on: June 22, 2004, 10:43:33 am »
Ok so I bought a slikstik blank and wasn't thinking that the pinball holes on the side would be drilled (thought that was something I had to ask for).  So now I realize that I can add those buttons in.

Anyway, are there a lot of video pinball games for MAME?  I couldn't think of any off the top of my head.  Please list some titles if you know any.

Thanks!

Catver is great for stuff like this:

Playchoice10:Pinbot
Pinball Action
Vs. Pinball
Grand Cross
Time Scanner
Video Pinball
Speedball
Pinbo

MATURE:
Gals Pinball
Super Pinball Action
Hot Pinball

There's also only about 3,000 free tables for Visual Pinball and PinMAME.  There was a recent thread about it in the software forum if you're not familiar with it.

In my opinion:
- none of the MAME ones are any good.
- V isual pinball tables are much better but the software is a ---smurfette--- to set up in a cabinet.
- I've setup the Microsoft Pinball Arcade tables in my cab (using Howard Casto's wrappers) and they're the ones that get played most.

There are also other PC-based pnballs apps like the offerings from Wild Snake or Balls of Steel.

None of those are nearly as good as playing the real thing of course, but that's another project!
