First off, this is what I am doing. I have an arcade cabinet I put a computer in for MAME and I built a 4 player control panel using the I-PAC 4 player. I have everything wired and works great for MAME. Now, the problem. I sold both of my 2 player X-Arcade sticks that I used for XBOX and now NEED to get my XBOX in my cabinet and work with the current controls. I need the easiest way to do this. I have 4 xbox controllers (but they are hard to hack). I was told to use playstation controllers because its much easier and then you buy the playstation to xbox adapter. OK, fine but how do I make the wires split from PC and XBOX. I dont want the XBOX to be connected to the I-Pac of course so I was thinking of using 4 DB25 connectors coming from the buttons and sticks, then to 4 db25 switchboxes and I could just simply switch all 4 to A for PC or all 4 to B for XBOX. I hope I am not confusing anyone. Its really quite simple idea but will this switch inbetween the buttons to the Ipac or XBOX affect the speed of the button presses and so on. I just need advise from someone who has done this setup or knows alot about hacking and wiring. Thanks for reading.
