  • Um....whats a cabinet
I got a standard 8-way wico joystick and want a 4 button layout.  I'll have two admin buttons on the top.

Its for a bar top.  I was wondering if anyone had a drill template that comes close to this that I can use so i dont screw this up.

Thanks

Hey

look to posts below I asked for a seven button layout for a similar situation as you recycled past gave me a template for a 6 button lay out and I found that it had to be adjust as the buttons were too far apart.

The original template he gave me the buttons were 1.75 apart (center to center) and I had to redo it, so I went with 1.5" (center to center) apart and I am still not too sure this is going to be comfortable enough.

My suggestion is to just measure  it out on paper and use the template on top of a shoe box.

Just my 2 cents.
Ed

I use the attached document for all my layouts.  It's not my controller but all the standard arcade parts I use are included.  The buttons are a perfect distance for me and there is an assortment of button groupings.

The A.M.O.A. used to have a template on their site for Jamma standard control panels and Star Tech Journal has one on their back issues cd rom.
