Is this a frogger? Is it worth restoring?
« on: June 15, 2004, 06:19:50 pm »
I got this cab a couple months ago on eBay, and just recently realized it looks kinda like a Frogger.  Is it a frogger?  I figured you guys would know just by a picture of the side, so that's what I'm posting.

Another question, if it is a Frogger, is it worth restoring?  It does not have a monitor or any of the frogger stuff still with it.  But it is in very good condition.  The "sideart"(just woodgrain) is in very good condition, and the overall condition of the cabinet is good.  It has a coin door and coin mechs.

So, what should I do?  I guess I could just put a very low end pc in it running vantage and have it JUST run frogger.  then I wouldn't have to buy  the frogger game board...

By the way, at the bottom of the cab, that is just a chair leg that got in the way of the photo.  Sorry about that.

I have the same cabinet in my garage. It was used for Frogger amoung many other things, and really isn't anything special. I wouldn't bother restoring it unless you really like Frogger.

Not a frogger.  Looks more like a Phoenix.
