PS2 Controller hack
« on: June 15, 2004, 12:38:50 pm »
I am in the process of completing my PSX controller hack (Performance Color GamePad). I've see a few site that show how to do this, and they have been rather helpful.
I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has preformed and completed a Playstation 2 controller hack?
The PS2 controllers PCB is primarily for the analog controls while a green plastic sheet acts as the contact for the digital controls.
I was just wondering how this might be pulled off - without being able to use solder what is the best way to connect wires to the plastic sheet or the connector on the PCB.

this need to go into "consoles"

i think you need to go get a cheap $ ps1 pad and hack that, you will be much better off, no green layer, just straight up digital hacking

Yeah, i'm already doing that, i was just wondering if there was a way to hack a PS2 controller. I have an extra one that the buttons stick and after i tried to take it apart couldn't get it back together right... ::) I don't want to just chuck it was wondering if i hack it.
