is this the right coin box for a centipede upright?
« on: June 14, 2004, 07:03:44 pm »
Can somebody tell me if this is what I am looking for for my Centipede upright?

I think I need one with the lip on the side as seen in pic.  Just want to be sure before I order one.  Thanks for your help.

That's it, but the one in the photo is missing the lid.  Here's mine:

The inset on the bottom of the cash box is so the box sits in the wood frame inside the cab where the ARII board installed.  See this pic, you can see the lip inside the wood box where the cash box rests:

In the photo you can see the metal tab on the rear of the wooden box.  That tab goes through the cash box & lid so a padlock could secure the cashbox in place.

Thanks.  I had no idea what that metal piece was.  I was going to remove it!   :o

Any idea what I should be expecting to pay for one with a lid?

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't expect to pay more than $10 or so.  They show up occasionally on eBay, or ask in RGVAC if anyone has one lying around.  Might try Bob Roberts, too.
