Four player games?
« on: June 11, 2004, 02:30:36 pm »
I am curious to know if there is a list of MAME games that can be viewed based upon number of players. Armed with this information I can go through the classic arcade collection and view how the originals were laid out to help me plan my four player control panel.

Thanks,
-Eric

Also, some common sense - there are no 4-player simultaneous games with more than 4 buttons in MAME.  (You might want more for console emulation or to make the CP look "balanced").  The ONLY 4-button games are the Dungeons and Dragons series.  The three button games didn't really have a universal type layout.

I'm starting to wonder if I should even put the 4th button on my 4 player Control Panel
I mostly want the 4 player controls for Konami games and Midway games

if D&D is the only game, should I even bother?
Can D&D be played with a button missing? lol
