Adding a button... to a gun?
« on: June 11, 2004, 10:53:28 am »
I bought a gun on ebay to hack my actlabs into...

and I LOVE it!  GREAT feel and weight... I need to buy a new hex screw bit thats smaller then I have to take apart the front... sigh...  So not hacked yet...

but the trouble... I want to add a switch calibrating... It doesn't need to be that easy (because I don't change resolutions on my cab... and I don't need to recalibrate between games...)

Any ideas?

I could take a screw out, but I don't know what I can add.

I think what you're asking is how to add a calibration switch to you new gun. I assume that you're taking the guts of an Act Labs light gun and stuffing them into another plastic pistol.

It should be relatively simple. Either use the existing switch or by a new one that fits someplace else in your new gun. If you post some pictures or provide some details about your new gun, the group should be able to offer some advice.
