CP for old Xevious Cab
« on: June 11, 2004, 05:07:56 am »
I got a Xevious cab for free the other day with no CP in it, I would like to put a cp with the following in

2 8 ways
1 4 way
6 buttons for the 8 ways
Trackball
Spinner
and maybe a buttong for the 4 way

Question is how should I build the CP? should I extend it to the left and right and raise it over where the old cp was, or move it out away from the cab?

Thanks

If the monitor is in the normal position (for Xevious), you won't be able to see it too well if the control panel is moved out away from the cab.  I would suggest the up and over idea.

What about cutting down the front edges of the cab to allow for the cp not to be reaised but be extended? or is xevious considered classic enough for the cab to be preserved?
