Need help Restoring a Wurlitzer 3600

I found a great deal on this Wurlitzer 3600 Superstar. I bought the original manual on eBay. But I haven't been able to find many sites that provide  lot of info on maintaining these guys.

It works fine sometimes, but I think it needs some adjustments cause it jams up.

Also, it looks like someone unplugged the coin plug and hard wired it together so it plays constantly. Anyone know anything about that?


Does anyone have any good links? Or forums where I can get some info.

I've been subscribed to this juke box repair list (http://lists.netlojix.com/mailman/listinfo/jukebox-list) for quite a while.  These guys really seem to know their stuff.

That jukebox looks sweet

i like the pattern on the front

Im looking for a compleatly dead jukebox (hard to pind parts etc so it be sold cheap) so i could put a mp3 machine in it and make it live again

must say if u changed the brass stuff to silver and use some of that metal stuff like on cars it look pretty modern

All the trim is silver, the photo just makes it look brass.

When I bought this no one knew if it would work or not. I figured I could always "convert" it if the insides were dead. But everything seems to work, so now I'm excited about playing retro 45's

cool i wish i could find 1 in australia for $100 or so but no shuch luck jukeboxes are kinda rare down here and the problem is i dont think i'll find a jukebox that is so broken down inside that its useless to fix up

i dont like wrecking things if they can be saved
