Chicago Area
« on: June 08, 2004, 05:46:02 pm »
I've been looking for a cabinet because im a little worried about making one myself and saw this deal in the Chicago area.  I have absolutly no need for 3 cabinets but some of these are classics, if anyone is interested maybe we could go in together.  Email me at rpfinley@yahoo.com

1) At those prices, you can probably resell the other two..

BUT

ONLY MAME THE WRESTLING GAME!

The space invaders one will probably be pretty easy to fix.  Hopefully it will be something simple.  This will sell if you can get it working for a few hundred easy

The pacman machine, if you can get it working, will finance the entire thing.  Sure its not as much as a mspacman... but you will get some cash out of it.

So if you have the space..  Bid on all 3 and assume you will get a few hundred back on the non-mamed machines.

thats the problem I can back the deal financially (and even rent the truck) but really dont have room for 3 machines and even worst I am such a newbie that I don't think I could fix the other two.  I would definitly Mame the wrestling game.  If worse came to worse I could hold the 3 games for a little bit but I am looking for someone who knows what the hell they are doing.

I could maybe get in on this. I have family in Chicago and I'll be making a trek through the area NLT August. If you don't mind holding them that is. Would you need assistance picking them up?

Also, which machine(s) are you most interested in?

Well, this is an auction. And looking at the pieces in the auction, it will go for a rather high price. I personally am very tempted, but I doubt the seller would hold the games until July 4th. I would love to fix up the pacman.

My games: Tapper, Asteroids, Cocktail-MAME, Tron, ROTJ, Tempest, Star Wars (not working)
My wants: Warlords Cocktail

Im in the city and moving into a new condo, i do have a storage area in the parking garage and would have to do some measurements to see how many could fit.  Im serious about this, its dirt cheap now with 3 days left.  I could rent a uhaul and pick it up myself.

I'm in Schaumburg but I could only put in like a hundred dollars at maximum, but if the bidding stayed low enough for that, I'd take whatever you don't want.

Well its only at $86 with 2 days left.  If it continues this cheap we should definitely work something out.  Im thinking anything under $400 is a steal.  Id be willing to peacemeal the games out.  I want the wrestling as my mame cabinet and for those of you who can actually fix the games maybe we can split the profits, if you can hold the game (and give me a little help on my mame).  Ill definitly keep an eye on it.
