Question about lighting

I would like to build a ddr cab. (eventually)  ya know the lights on the marquee?  they blink randomly.  where can i get a set of these?

I am by no means an expert on this but you could try a audio/video suppply place.  Like one that rents out DJ equipment or something.  I dunno it's just a thought.

I don't know where your located, but Jaycar / Dick Smith Electronics / RadioShack / Tandy (etc) will have plans for hooking up high brightness LEDS in a circuit so that they flash.  

Although you will have to use quite a few LEDS, the current draw compared to a normal lightblub is really low.
The internet, hey... so they have that on computer's now???

I'm starting my Bemani (DDR, Pop N Music and Beatmania)  cabinet in a couple of months. The thing is going to scream Vegas   ;D Use LED's a rig them to flash to the beat of the music. They sell larger LED tubes similar to neon that you can throw behind the marquee. You can either buy them sound activated or do it yourself.
