CP button labelling
« on: June 06, 2004, 02:59:04 pm »
How does everyone label the buttons on their CP? For me I am going to install 4 buttons  (plus 3 others for 1/2 player and coin) for the classic games I play and these will map to the shift, control, spacebar, and alt key.

What is the standard mechinism to label these buttons so that others can tell which is needed for a game? Do you use 1/2/3/4 or the actual key name or just leave them blank and let everyone guess?

It would be very time consuming to map every game to have the same button (block, jump, etc.) so you could have different color buttons and then let the player figure it out or just tell them that blue = jump and so on.

Just a thought.
Chuck Norris was originally in Street Fighter II, but was removed by Beta Testers because every button caused him to do a roundhouse kick. When asked about this "glitch," Norris replied "What Glitch?"
