did anyone here end up going? Unfortunatly i was unable to attend.
I went, wish I hadn't.. no real steal-deals, 3 pins went relatively cheap, Nice dedicated caberet "time pilot" went for $100 (cdn) as did a pac cocktail converted to something-or-other..
if you wanted side by side cockpit games, (large and heavy! :-) you could've gotten some cheap.. several crappy tetris conversions went for somewhere around the $400 mark... (I mean *CRAPPY*! beat up cabs, nicked t-molding, torn paper/photocopied marquee..pathetic! )
Although a newer purple sit-at Merrit Megatouch MAXX went for only ~$350 ... It was worth WAY more than that..but too rich for my blood seeing as I don't have a bar to stick it in..:-)
I also didn't have room for the 32 coin-op Canada Post 6 foot tall stamp dispensers with bill acceptors/stackers they tried to sell (went down to $2.50 each, still no bidders..)
or the (qty-9) 12 foot by 6 foot snooker tables...
or several hundred golf clubs from nevada bobs..:-)
basically quite a bit of crap, and not enough of the right kind of crap to make a good arcade auction..
all in all, you didn't miss anything, they aren't like the ones we read about down in the US east-coast..:-(
