I can't be sure... but it looks like he just had a typo...

a quick google search found this site:

http://ajmmame.webajm.com/

it has a glowing blue trackball so I'd guess that's the site...

good luck,

FYI, I went the translucent blue trackball way, used an extra power line from my PC to light the bulb I bought from HAPPS.

However, I wouldn't do this again.  It isn't hard, it is just hardly worth it.  The lights are usually on in the gameroom and you can only see it glowing if you look down on it.

Next time I would put in a pool ball since they are the same size.  Either an 8 ball (black), or a 2 ball(blue)  to match the controls on my panel which are currently all blue.

Just my 2 cents.

In my case when I bought the Happs trackball that had the bulb preinstalled with the 3" blue translucent ball, and like a lot of other people I've heard about, it was enough to heat the ball for an hour and make it expand so it wouldn't actually spin right.  So my solution, wire up a bright blue LED to a 12v adapter, with the correct resistors.  So now all I gotta do is plug in my LED and put it underneath the trackball, it's extremely bright blue shining on translucent blue, results a VERY cool looking milky-ish blue.

I also Illuminated my blue track ball with the high intensity Led's with resistors. instead ov running to a 12 volt supply
I ran it off of the 5v connection on my Opti-pac. I used 2 clear leds so I could light it fom 2 different angles.the main reasons I went with the leds is there is no heat from them.
and they will pretty much last forever.
