Can anybody help me out? (2 small parts needed)
« on: June 03, 2004, 09:41:38 am »
Ok, I'm looking for two small pieces.  I'm hoping that somebody has them just lying around and wouldn't mind just tossing them in an envelope...

The first thing I am looking for is one of those little screws on my coin mech (see picture).  It's not essential to its operation, but it just doesn't sit right.

The second thing I'm looking for is a leaf switch pal nut.

[aside]I placed an order with a company that totaled over $140 US.  It was clear that I was "restoring" a centipede cab and I ordered one leaf switch and a leaf holder...  one would think that they would toss in a nut, but no luck.  Guess I should have asked, but didn't think.  Oh well.

So, I'm in Canada, but I'm sure it wouldn't have a problem getting across the border.  If you're in Toronto, I can come pick it up.  If anybody can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

If you want me to send you a buck with PayPal, I'm fine with that.

Why not go down to your local hardware store?  You should be able to get the stuff you need.  Probably won't cost you more than 25 cents or so each for a screw and a nut.  You might even find a friendly clerk who will just give it to you for free if that's all you need.

Wait, they do have hardware stores in Canada eh?   LOL, just kiddin with ya man. :P ;D

I have a pal nut from a leaf switch, pm me your address and I'll drop it in the mail.

Nothing like helping out a fellow Canadian who also has a Centipede cab :)

Those screws are coin mech studs; they won't have them at a hardware store.

I have a pair of those I'm not using... send me an address...

Those screws are coin mech studs; they won't have them at a hardware store.

You can use a PC case screw.  It's the same diameter.
